Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Childcare Director to manage our daily operations, ensure compliance with state licensing, and lead our team of passionate educators. The ideal candidate will create a safe, stimulating environment for children while fostering strong relationships with parents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership & Staffing: Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate teachers and staff.
* Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to state/local licensing regulations and safety standards.
* Operations: Manage daily operations, including enrollment, scheduling, and budget administration.
* Curriculum & Development: Implement and oversee high-quality educational programs.
* Family Engagement: Maintain open communication and build trust with parents and community partners.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development or related field.
* Minimum 2 years experience working with children.
* Acquire a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent.
* Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.
* Pass background checks.
* Attend required training sessions on health and safety regulations.
* Maintain ongoing development through workshops and courses.
